Teenie NeeDoh: A Collector's Guide

Updated

What Teenie means

Teenie NeeDoh are the mini versions of the line. The maker lists the Rainboh globs at 1.5 inches and the Teenie Fuzz Ball at 1.5 inches in diameter, small enough for a pocket or pencil case. In our catalog the Teenie Series holds 13 products, most of them multipacks.

Singles, packs and sets

Teenie Singles come in individual packages in four styles (Ripples, Glow in the Dark, Swirl and Original). Teenie NeeDoh itself is sold as a pack of three. Teenie Cool Cats and Funky Pups come in packs of three with eight different facial expressions in four assorted colors. The Nice Ice Baby Multipack holds four crystal-clear mini Nice Cubes in assorted colors, and the Rainboh set adds six globs in six colors with a storage case and carrying handle.

How to build a collection

Pick one family first, such as the character minis or the Nice Ice Baby cubes, and add from there. Multipack contents and colors vary, so look at the packaging of your exact set rather than assuming a specific figure. Buy a set rather than several singles when you want to share, since the pieces are made for swapping.

Using and keeping minis

Minis are small, so keep them away from very young children and from mouths, as with every NeeDoh, and follow the age guidance on the packaging. Wash by hand with mild soap and water if they get sticky and let them air dry (Schylling FAQ, retrieved 2026-09-27); a pouch keeps lint off the surface.

Teenie or full-size: what changes

Teenie pieces are smaller, so they fit places a Classic does not, such as a pencil case, but they are also easier to lose and easier for very young children to put in their mouths. Full-size pieces fill the hand and are easier to keep track of. Many collectors keep a full-size piece at home and a Teenie in the bag.

A simple way to share

If you buy a multipack to give away, pick it by what the recipient likes rather than by quantity: fuzzy minis for people who like soft textures, the Nice Ice Baby cubes for people who like a firmer feel. Check the pack's age guidance first, and keep minis out of reach of children who still mouth objects.
